WHCAOWA Elections 2018

The day has come. Our builder has finally made a formal announcement of their intent to exit. For some, the day couldn’t have come sooner, for others it has come too early.

A valid argument can be made that DLF should be held accountable for all the promises made to the buyers in the ABA and should not be allowed to exit without fulfilling their obligations. But, it is also true that matters cannot continue as present, where no one holds JLL accountable for their deficiencies in providing adequate services to the residents, where the lifts & internal roads are under constant state of non-repair and many day to day issues remain unresolved due to the unwillingness of DLF to antagonize any section of owners/residents.

It is a perfect mixture of their incompetence and unwillingness to rectify their mistakes that has landed all owners in this mess of constant suspicion, in-fighting, mud-slinging & name calling.

Hence the big question.

How do we move forward.

Do we continue to insist to DLF to do something they are unwilling or incapable of doing? (A simple matter of initiating KAOA, even though set of owners promised that we would bear the cost and convince all 1800+ owners to sign on. it was just a matter of paperwork for DLF, and yet they refused)

OR Do we attempt to take over the association into honest hands who have displayed maturity and consistency in their words and deeds and allow them to steer the society into safer waters.

The choice owners, residents , pet lovers, pet haters, tenants, bachelors, families, seniors is OURS.
